This emergency response system service isn't just for emergencies; it is companionship and peace of mind 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.


SOCIAL/COMPANIONSHIP with Personal Emergency Response System

If you are concerned about someone who lives alone, In-Touch® Social/ Companionship with Personal Emergency Response System can take the worry out of them being home alone. This service provides social interaction as well as emergency response communications.

Affordable and easy to install, the system consists of a small call button, which can be worn as a watch or necklace. Pressing the button from anywhere in the home activates a communication unit, allowing the wearer to speak directly to a specially trained In-Touch® attendant. Calls to the monitoring center (with the push of the call button) are encouraged for any reason, including companionship, safety concerns and linkage to health and social service providers or emergency services. When the call button is activated, your emergency information is immediately displayed on the attendant's computer screen. Power fails? Not to worry, battery back up included!

The basic service includes two monthly calls from the In-Touch® Monitoring Center to check the equipment and remind the client to wear his or her button. Additional services such as medication reminders can be included as well as other scheduled calls for an additional fee (see following).


Feature Summary:

The basic service fee of $55 per month includes:

  • Advanced two-way voice communication via the In-Touch® Care-phone.
  • Client encouraged to make frequent calls to the Monitoring Center for reassurance, companionship or for any other reason.
  • Client activates unit for minor/major emergencies.
  • Monitoring Center will contact EMS and/or pre-selected contacts.
  • Attendant will stay on the line until help arrives.
  • Attendant will make bimonthly calls to check on client.

 

Additional Services

IN-TOUCH® will make reminder/social calls to the client:
(costs are in addition to basic $55 per month fee)

  • 1 Call per day - $21.50/month
  • 2 Calls per day - $34.25/month
  • 3 Calls per day - $45.00/month
  • 4 Calls per day - $51.50/month

For example: Every morning at 10 an attendant would call to remind you to take your medication.

* Initial fee represents the minimum two month service period monthly charges plus a one time shipping/handling and connect fee of $25. This fee will be charged directly to your credit card when signing up for the service.

** Monthly fee will be charged starting in the third month of the service period. A representative will contact you to arrange monthly credit card payment.
