EonE-sd (secure server - dial up)
The system includes the camera, dial up modem, and the Eyes On Elders secure server portal. It is a solution for single image uploads, which can be viewed remotely from any browser. It requires connectivity to the Internet via an ISP and a dedicated telephone line.

System includes

1. Network camera
The network camera is a digital camera with a built in web server. It can provide 10 frames/second over a high-speed connection. The internal web server alleviates the need for any processing device such as a PC. It requires an external modem (dial up or wireless) or a connection to a network. It has a fixed lens and does not have built in motion detection.

2. Dial up modem
An approved 56K modem will be used.

3. Secure Server
Our secure server provides login protection as well as encryption to provide a secure environment for users who may be concerned about privacy. A user-friendly interface is provided to insure the easiest access possible while maintaining security. In cases where a password is forgotten, we will reset it to a default value. Once the client has changed their password, even we can't access it. For purposes of 3rd party monitoring, usernames and passwords will be issued to the 3rd party. All accesses to the camera are maintained in a log file for historical reference.

System Requirements

1. Dial up ISP
An account with an ISP is required to provide Internet connectivity. The monthly cost is $21.95, which will be billed directly by the ISP to the customer. The first 2 months are free.

2. Dedicated telephone line
Although the camera can be configured to dial out continuously which could allow someone to use the telephone line, images would not be able to be uploaded while the telephone was in use. Therefore, it is recommended that a dedicated telephone line is used. The cost for a data-only line is approximately $10/month.
